Direct link and Indirect link in the Campaign menu

Which link to use in the Campaign menu? Direct or Indirect?

As a short answer to this question: Use the Direct link in your campaigns.

The direct link is a link to the target page with additional parameters that are extracted to determine which campaign this link is for.

The indirect link is a link to an intemmediate page. The parameters are extracted when the visitor arrives to this page. Then from this page he will be redirected to the target page with a link that has no additional promptchat specific parameters.

When the visitor arrives to the target page he will be checked agains a table on the server and the parameters extracted on the intemmidiate page will be associated with him/her.

Give an example when the indirect link would be useful in real life?

The indirect link should be used when it is not possible to use the direct link. Please test with the direct link first and then if that does not work, use the indirect link.
